CYBERJAYA: Basketball in Malaysia has been given a shot in the arm.

On Tuesday, a newly-formed sports event company NBL Asia, under the leadership of former national basketball player Tan Kee Hian, received a RM3.8mil sponsorship from property developer Seri Mutiara to set up a national league as well as develop the sport at grass roots level.
