PETALING JAYA: The Westports Malaysia Dragons are sweating on the fitness of star point guard Avery Scharer as they bid to keep alive their Asean Basketball League (ABL) title hopes.
The 28-year-old Scharer, who played a key role in the Dragons’ run to the Finals, suffered a concussion after he was clobbered by HiTech Bangkok City’s Patrick Cabahug in the 77-93 defeat in Game 1.
