Liu Ying hopes to make it count with invite into World Championships

KUALA LUMPUR: From a “crippled” to a representative at the World Championships in just one year.

Goh Liu Ying and Chan Peng Soon have been invited by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) to compete in the mixed doubles at the World Championships in Jakarta from Aug 10-16. The Malaysians are replacements for Guatemala’s Solis Jonathan-Nikte Alejandra Sotomayor, who withdrew from the championships.
