Daren may have to take RM1,500 pay cut if he flops at Taiwan Open

Liew Daren gets RM4,000 a month but, come September, he may take home just RM2,500.

KUALA LUMPUR: Shuttler Liew Daren stands to lose as much as RM1,500 a month if he fails to shine at next week’s Taiwan Open.

Under the Badminton Association of Malaysia’s (BAM) new salary and incentive scheme, their world ranking will determine how much they get to take home monthly.
