PETALING JAYA: Malaysian’s mixed doubles pair Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying can take heart despite failing to get the better of China’s top seeds Liu Cheng-Bao Yixin in the semi-finals of the China Masters Grand Prix Gold in Changzhou.

The former world number three pairing lost 17-21, 21-17, 17-21 after putting up a strong resistance against the world No. 4 pair for 63 minutes.
