Malaysian men's singles flop miserably at Indian Open


National no.3 Zulfadli Zulkiffli failed to get part the first round of qualifying at the Indian Open Superseries badminton tournament on Tuesday.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s men’s singles challenge at the Indian Open has come to a premature end on Tuesday.

Former world junior champion Zulfadli Zulkiffli, who is the sole representative in the event, failed to live up to his third seeding in the qualifying rounds as he fell 21-13, 23-21 to homester Sameer Varma at the first hurdle.
