PETALING JAYA: Former world No. 3 mixed doubles pair Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying took a small step in the right direction after notching a convincing first-round win in the Swiss Open.
The pair, who missed a year of action together after Liu Ying took time out to undergo knee surgeries, proved too strong for Taiwan’s Wu Hsiao-lin-Hsieh Pei-chen, winning 21-13, 21-13 in Basel on Wednesday.
