PETALING JAYA: Malaysia may not have a men’s singles representative in the main draw of the prestigious All-England badminton championships in Birmingham from March 3-8.

In the draw released on Tuesday, none of the Malaysians were given places in the tournament proper. All the three representatives  – world No. 32 Chong Wei Feng, No. 55 Mohd Arif Abdul Latif and No. 56 Zulfadli Zulkiffli – have to go through the qualifying rounds. And it’s going to be a Herculean task for them to make the main draw.
