PETALING JAYA: World champion Chen Long became only the second player to lift the men’s singles title at the BWF World Superseries Finals twice after beating Denmark’s Hans-Kristian Vittinghus in straight games.

The Chinese world No. 2 proved too good for Vittinghus, winning 21-16, 21-10 in 47 minutes at the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai on Sunday to join Malaysia’s Lee Chong Wei as a repeat winner. Chong Wei won the title four times in the previous six editions.
