PETALING JAYA: Singles shuttler Tan Chun Seang and men’s pair Chow Pak Chuu-Mak Hee Chun both finished empty-handed after falling short in their respective finals at the Malaysian International Challenge in Kuching.

The 28-year-old Chun Seang, aiming for his fifth career title, gave former world No.1 and top seed Lee Hyun-il a run for his money en route to a 21-17, 16-21, 11-21 defeat.
