PETALING JAYA: Malaysian No. 2 Chong Wei Feng paid the price for being hasty and went down to Japanese Sho Sasaki in the men’s singles second round of the China Open in Fuzhou.

The 27-year-old Wei Feng had Sasaki by the scruff of his neck, winning the opening game 26-24 and leading 17-12 in the second. But he stumbled in shocking fashion to lose 26-24, 21-23, 21-6.
