KUALA LUMPUR: China received a timely boost ahead of the World Championships in Copenhagen in August after former world junior champion Tian Houwei ensured they will have the maximum four shuttlers in the men’s singles event.
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) have given the nod for Houwei, the first reserve, to compete in the world meet following Singaporean Ashton Chen’s withdrawal recently.
