Daren hoping for better result at Asian meet

Liew Daren: 'It has been more than a month since I took part in a competition. I’m now injury-free and I so badly want to make my way up again.'

KUALA LUMPUR: A fitter national men’s singles shuttler Liew Daren is back in the fray and hoping to boost his confidence ahead of the Thomas Cup Finals in New Delhi from May 18-25.

Daren left for Gimcheon in South Korea on Saturday to compete in the Asian Badminton Championships (ABC) starting on Wednesday and he is looking forward to a possible meeting against five-time world champion Lin Dan of China.
