Hoon-Tan no match for Indonesian pair


KUALA LUMPUR: Last minute entrants Hoon Thien How-Tan Wee Kiong were given a wake-up call as they were outclassed by world champions Mohd Ahsan-Hendra Setiawan in their Group A match of the Super Series Finals at the Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium late on Wednesday.

The world No. 8 who only made the cut because compatriot Koo Kien Keat suffered an eye infection and withdrew last Saturday, were beaten 17-21, 13-21 in just 29 minutes.
