KUALA LUMPUR: National men’s singles shuttler Chong Wei Feng soared high when he stormed into the semi-finals of the China Open in Shanghai for the second year in a row, but it was a painful end yet again for an injured Liew Daren.
On Friday, the 26-year-old Wei Feng defeated former World Championships silver medallist Sony Dwi Kuncoro of Indonesia 18-21, 21-14, 21-16 in a hard-fought 62-minute quarter-final match.
