PETALING JAYA: World No. 12 Hoon Thien How-Tan Wee Kiong produced an amazing effort for one of the biggest wins in their careers after dumping world No. 3 Mathias Boe-Carsten Mogensen of Denmark in the first round of the China Open at Shanghai on Wednesday.

The pair who had sneaked into contention for the Super Series Finals following a semi-final showing at the French Open, were just too much for the second seeded Danes, winning 25-23, 21-15.
