(Reuters) - Bodin Issara's club Granular will appeal the shuttler's two-year ban by the Badminton Association of Thailand (BAT) for his ugly on-court brawl with former doubles partner Maneepong Jongjit during the Canada Open final.
Maneepong also received a three-month ban on Saturday from BAT for provocation after lengthy deliberations in Bangkok and the duo could face further penalties with the Badminton World Federation (BWF) investigating the incident.
