Personal best not good enough for high jumper Mohd Syazwan


KUALA LUMPUR: High jumper Mohd Syazwan Ahmad leapt to a personal best at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa – but it was still not good enough for a podium finish.

There was only heartbreak for the 17-year-old after he cleared 2.11m in the boys’ event. Two others – Sri Lanka’s Roshan Dammika Ranatunga Ranatungage and Jamaican Lashane Wilson – had also cleared the same height.
