KUALA LUMPUR: The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) have decided to cancel the controversial Malaysian International Marathon (MIM) that was planned at the Batu Kawan Stadium in Penang from May 23-24.
OCM president Tunku Tan Sri Imran Tuanku Ja'afar said the decision was made after taking into account several factors such as OCM's 34th Annual General Assembly on Aug 22, the 128th International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from July 27-Aug 3 and the Singapore SEA Games in June.
