PARIS (Reuters) - Frenchman Renaud Lavillenie has pulled out of next month's indoor world athletics championships with a foot injury he sustained when he tried to beat his recent pole vault world record.
Olympic champion Lavillenie cleared 6.16 metres at an indoor meeting in Donetsk on Saturday, surpassing Sergei Bubka's 1993 mark of 6.15.
