Women's pole vaulter Roslinda Samsu, who won a gold medal at the 2011 Palembang Games, will not be going to Myanmar as she has retired.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Athletics Federation (MAF) have reduced their target for next month’s Myanmar SEA Games to only five golds, from seven golds two months ago.
MAF president Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad said that they have reduced the target by two golds as most of the 37 athletes competing in the Games are young and some are competing for the first time.
