PETALING JAYA: Nur Aliya Ghapar is ready to take on the National Archery Association of Malaysia’s (NAAM) high expectations of seeing at least one woman archer at next year’s Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
The 19-year-old Aliya believes she has what it takes to become the third archer after Mon Redee Sut Txi (Athens 2004) and Nurul Syafiqah Hashim (London 2012) to compete on the world’s biggest stage.
