IT is extremely disturbing to read that senior executives of a foundation have been drawing emoluments that equal to or surpass what is earned by some corporate executives in entities setup with the primary objective of generating profits.
For profit making entities, there is no altruistic motive of greening the earth, saving the whales, protecting natural resources, feeding the homeless or a host of other similar initiatives. Non-profit entities, on the other hand, pursue noble aims as opposed to indulging in operations which pay handsome returns to investors
