I REFER to the recent 2015 SPM History Examination Paper Two. Question 9 (c) lists four current Malay newspapers: Utusan Malaysia, Berita Harian, Kosmo and Metro. Students were required to state the issues raised in these four newspapers and to suggest how the press can further enhance its role in developing society.
This question is unfair as it is inherently biased towards a particular ethnic group which is more likely to read such newspapers.
