Say no to death penalty

OCT 10 marks the 13th World Day Against the Death Penalty (WDADP) which is aimed at raising awareness of the continued use of the death penalty as part of the legislative process worldwide.

Past efforts of Amnesty International (AI) in conjunction with the WDADP include the case of Iwao Hakamada and Frank Walls. Our work has seen amazing results with Iwao Hakamada who was released just last year after serving 46 years in prison and is currently pending retrial.
