IT is very sad to read from the report “Lack of control on nursing homes” (The Star, Sept 19) that not all nursing homes for the elderly are registered with the relevant ministries.
The Woman, Family and Community Development Ministry and the Health Ministry must make it mandatory for all these homes to be officially registered.
