Missing the 1Malaysia factor

THIS year’s Merdeka Day theme “Sehati Sejiwa” is certainly one of the best themes in recent years.

Malaysians regardless of race and religion celebrated Merdeka Day with one heart and one soul. But the sad thing is the theme song, which is being aired on TV for the past one month, lacks the meaning of the theme. The video clip does not reflect the true spirit of Malaysia because there is only one race waving our Jalur Gemilang.
