Old link between teachers and pupils

NOWADAYS, the changing dynamics of the school environment regularly make the news. One cannot help but concede that the disconnect between the behaviours of pupils and the expectations of teachers (although inextricably linked) is widening unabated.

Often, I feel that I am stuck in a time warp because, from my perspective, it was neither an uphill battle nor was it a breeze connecting with my pupils throughout my teaching career.
