FROM Sept 1, Malaysian households in six states will be required to separate their household waste, failing which they risk being fined up to a maximum compound of RM1,000.
Having lived in Australia for more than eight years, I strongly believe in recycling. It is part of the daily practice that has been inculcated into the people there, and conforming to recycling is both a legal and moral obligation.
