Consider providing good service

I WAS glad when I read Wong Chun Wai’s article “The mission: service first” (Sunday Star, June 28), which is related to the current ‘“sarong wearing” cases in our public institutions.

If I were Minister for the day, I would promote the culture of “Service First to Rakyat” 100%. Why do these little Napoleons, whether in public or private institutions, want to be our moral guardians – to decide whether this skirt is too short, the shorts are too pink and so on?
