THE British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) featured as one of its prime news items on May 14, the issue of human trafficking plaguing the South-East Asian countries focusing on the illegal immigrants washed up on the shores of Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
A guest commentator from an International Refugee Organisation took the three governments to task for not accommodating the illegal immigrants stranded off shore packed like sardines in boats that may not be seaworthy.
