Look beyond government service for employment


I REFER to the article “PSC: Freeze on civil servant recruitment”, (The Star, May 5), which reported on the Public Service Commission (PSC) confirming that all recruitment for civil servants has been frozen.

Good news? In my view, definitely yes. But it may not be for the majority of the Dayak community in Sarawak who have been crying for more young Dayaks to be hired in the federal civil service since last year.
