PENANG has got off to a great start by building a dedicated cycling lane from Karpal Singh Drive to Komtar. This will serve as an encouragement to cyclists elsewhere in Malaysia to do the same.
They are coming out in numbers as they also cycle to run errands. NGOs are even actively helping people to get on their bicycles leading to many newcomers.
