TO support the call to “Take stern action against unhygienic eateries” (The Star, April 15), I would like to point out that similar scenarios can also be seen at hospitals, where one can sometimes see nurses using the same gloved hand to touch other stuff and even to open the door. The only “protection” I see here is for the hand.
My other peeve is that some toilet flush buttons in a few hospitals I have visited are so hard to push.
