Have controls for food prices

WE welcome the Government’s hard stand on rising costs. And kudos to Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaacob for his fight against unscrupulous profiteers and the Federation of Malaysia Consumers Association’s (Fomca) for its suggestion to label the price of all goods.

Only when the Government sees rising costs and economic problems as a mainstream event rather than a fringe experience, that affects only people in the lower strata of the scale, will things be put right.
