WOMEN, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim has indicated that the proposed amendments to the Child Act 2001 will include punishment for parents or those who cane and whip their children although she has later clarified on the matter.
Such a proposal will certainly generate debate among parents as to whether this is the proper way to bring up children.
