I REFER to the articles “Much ado about Uber” and “Under fire, but the Uber drivers are still on the road” (Sunday Star, Oct 19).
The confirmation by Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) chairman Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar that Uber had declined to meet up until five of their drivers were arrested on Oct 1 is most telling.
