I REFER to the report “It’s the ugly game” and “Stem the rising tide” (The Star, April 17).

Football hooliganism has again reared its ugly head in the M-League. Records show that there has been rowdy incidents in at least seven matches this season with fans lighting flares/fireworks, smoke bombs, pelting stones, cracking several windows of buses ferrying players, bashing rival supporters and not forgetting the Johor Larkin Stadium tunnel incident.
