Loss in non-revenue water the cause

THE headline “Two Weeks to Dry Day” (The Star, April 1), highlighting that water “usage has dropped only 7% with many hoarding more water than they need on the days they get supply”.

As one of the many water users affected by the current water rationing exercise, I would like to defend my increased efforts at water conservation which has effectively resulted in at least 30% savings of my own household water consumption.
