MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Russian defence ministry has invited foreign military officers to Moscow to coordinate work on fighting Islamic State militants in Syria, said Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov, according to the TASS news agency.
Antonov was also quoted as saying that members of the U.S.-led coalition conducting air strikes in Syria should pass Russia intelligence on the positions of IS militants.
