WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama called the shooting in Canada on Wednesday "tragic" and said it reinforced the need for vigilance.
Obama, speaking to reporters at the White House, said he did not yet have information on the motivation of the shooter or whether he was part of a broader network.
