Dutch prepare to mourn as task of identifying bodies begins

DRIEBERGEN THE NETHERLANDS (Reuters) - The remains of the victims of last week's downing of a Malaysian airliner will begin to arrive in the Netherlands on Wednesday, but the intricate and harrowing process of giving names to the bodies could take weeks or months, Dutch officials said.

Two military transport aircraft will touch down at 1500 BST at the airport in Eindhoven in the southern Netherlands on Wednesday, which has been declared the country's first day of mourning in more than half a century. The convoy will be the first of many.
