WARSAW (Reuters) - Poland's prime minister said on Monday central bank governor Marek Belka had not committed any crime when he was captured in a secret recording using expletives about bank colleagues and discussing the removal of the finance minister.
The comments from Prime Minister Donald Tusk were likely to ease pressure on Belka to resign over the affair. He is considered a safe pair of hands by investors with assets in Poland, the European Union's sixth-biggest economy.
