Looking into the Eye of Horus

Most Egyptians wish the politicians would move on, as they have, so that everyone can focus on new and improved presidential and parliamentary elections.

MY family and friends outside Egypt are worried about me because of the alarming footage and headlines they’ve seen. Egypt is descending into chaos; it’s “at the edge”; it’s a derailed train with “its front wheels dangling” over a ravine. I tell them I’m fine, that the Egypt portrayed in the media is only part of the picture.
