Cypriot conservative chief leads in presidential runoff - exit poll


NICOSIA (Reuters) - Cypriot conservative leader Nicos Anastasiades has taken an overwhelming lead in Sunday's presidential runoff vote, an exit poll by the state broadcaster CyBC showed.

The 66-year-old lawyer took between 57.5 and 61.5 percent share of the vote according to the poll. That was well ahead of leftist rival Stavros Malas, who was seen taking between 38.5 and 42.5 percent of the vote, the poll said.
