BUDAPEST (Reuters) - Hungary's ruling Fidesz party has abandoned plans to introduce a registration of voters for the next elections after the country's top court said the measure imposed undue limitations on voting rights and was unconstitutional.
Antal Rogan, head of Fidesz's parliamentary group, was cited by national news agency MTI announcing the decision after the court's ruling was published earlier on Friday.
