MANILA: Human rights victims of late Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos’s regime have vowed to ensure that his crimes are not forgotten, after his son announced a bid for the vice-presidency.
Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr said on Monday that he would run as an independent in next year’s elections, widely seen as a stepping stone to an eventual presidential bid, but rights groups pledged ferocious campaigns against him.
