HAILING from India and currently attending a nine-month programme in the United States, I am struck by the differences and similarities between the women in the two countries and what they can learn from one another to overcome barriers and achieve equality.
Through Global Links, a cultural exchange programme I’ve been involved in, I’ve seen the way women in the United States approach their fight for equality.
