ANKARA: Turkey's outgoing premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan was sworn in as president on Thursday to extend his more than decade-long dominant rule of the country.
Deputies of the opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), who accuse Erdogan of violating the constitution, walked out of the session just before he was sworn in. - AFP
