TAIPEI: Taiwan on Wednesday honoured tens of thousands of Chinese Nationalist soldiers killed in World War II in Myanmar, many of whom came to the rescue of British troops.
It symbolises the souls of more than 56,000 soldiers who died in a series of bloody battles against Japan in Myanmar, according to the defence ministry.
